WHAT WE ARE ABOUT

The Collinsville Chapter of Lewis and Clark Habitat for Humanity was established is 2005 by a group of volunteers wishing to improve the Unit School District #10  by providing safe, affordable housing for families.

Since that time, the Chapter has built 6 houses within the Unit #10 School District.

In 2008, the Lewis and Clark Habitat for Humanity ReStore was opened, providing a much-needed avenue for community members and businesses to donate their excess building and household items, keeping those items out of the landfill while providing funds to help defray some of the cost of the home building. In addition, the ReStore helps its shoppers by providing low-cost materials and household and decor bargains.
